The Family Foundation School is a private, college preparatory, fully accredited therapeutic boarding school serving bright, talented high school teenagers and young adults struggling with behavioral or emotional difficulties. With over 30 years experience, The Family Foundation School has been a leader in the field and remains a dynamic organization serving adolescents at risk and their families. We are seeking a full-time Assistant Dean of Admissions to:
- Respond to parent and referring professional inquiries by telephone and email
- Represent The Family Foundation School’s unique program to referring professionals
- Interview prospective parents
- Interface positively and professionally with staff, students and families
- Provide counseling support to parents in crisis
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals
- Some travel involved to attend conferences and expand, develop and strengthen professional relationships
- Work directly with students in a therapeutic capacity based on training and experience
- Provide administrative coverage of the admissions office in the Dean’s absence
Qualifications
Masters degree and experience in the field of adolescent therapeutic intervention required. Previous admissions experience highly desirable. Familiarity/experience with the 12 Steps a plus.

The Assistant Dean of Admissions will interact and work closely with the students and staff alike so as to develop an intimate understanding of the school and program so he/she can represent the school from personal experience as an active member of the school community.
