 Michael J. Merchant, ANASAZI Foundation - President and
Executive Director Mike is the immediate past president of
the Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Industry Council and past
president of the Arizona Management Society. Mike has also
served on numerous panels, counsels, and committees regulating
behavioral healthcare programs for adolescents in Arizona. Since
1993, Mike has facilitated workshops and presented at
conferences nationwide on topics related to leadership, family,
and interpersonal relations. Mike is a certified consultant and
facilitator for The Arbinger Institute. While at ANASAZI, Mike
has organized charity events featuring personalities such as
Barbara Bush, Stephen R. Covey and Steve Young--raising more
than $5 million to provide behavioral health services to
financially challenged families. Mike is married to Gaylene
Roberts and they are the parents of seven (red headed) children.
He and his family sing and perform regularly.
