As a Team Member, you can use your positive attitude to encourage troubled teens and directly impact their young lives. Working with a group of 6-8 teens ages 12-18, you will assist in the care and treatment of troubled teens, assist with off-campus appointments, and provide a positive and effective treatment program. Health and Dental benefits begin after a 90 day probation period. Retirement Plan available after completing one-year of employment. Paid holidays and paid time off.
Licensed Therapist: Primary liaison between students and parents during treatment. Responsible for leading treatment teams and documentation of resident progress.
Requirements:
- 4 year degree in Social Sciences, Criminal Justice or Therapeutic Recreation required
- Other degrees considered with experience
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate teens
- Must be physically fit and able to participate in activities such as hiking, backpacking, Canoeing etc.
- Ability to relate to all segments of the population
- An understanding of behaviorally disordered teens and their families
- Adequate ability to speak, read and write English
