Pillars provides quality, comprehensive, community-based social services for over 10,000 individuals and families annually in 36 suburban Chicago communities. Accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and Medicaid certified, Pillars provides comprehensive mental health services, children and family services, domestic and sexual violence services, addiction counseling and community housing initiatives.
We seek an accomplished leader with demonstrated experience in high quality service delivery, strong business development skills and solid financial acumen gained from his or her professional career in the human services, healthcare or mental health administration. Knowledge and experience dealing with a variety of public regulatory agencies is a must as well as an understanding of both public and private payer sources, similar to the revenue sources at Pillars. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate an ability to work with a wide variety of community constituents such as other nonprofit organizations, elected officials at both local and state levels, businesses, individual donors, civic leaders and volunteer groups. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate fundraising success through active engagement and solicitation of major individual donors, foundations and corporations. A master’s degree is highly preferred.
