NATSAP Research and Evaluation Network
The Board of Directors of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Program’s (NATSAP) has appointed a Standing Research Committee and hired a part time Research Coordinator, Dr. Michael Gass and one of his graduate students, Ryan Zelov, of the University of New Hampshire to develop and manage a data collection network designed to allow for maximum participation by NATSAP member programs. The hope is to create a deidentified aggregate database. The plan is for the majority of the network’s data gathering to be conducted through a web-based application provided by www.outcometools.com.
The initial research goal is to examine the outcome effectiveness of NATSAP programs. Such data will be immediately useful in work that is increasingly important and expected in all educational and behavioral health environments. More on the networks

Your program
- Will be identified as a research participant
- Can use individual participant data for clinical purposes
- Will have access to summaries of your program in comparison to all others as well as in comparison to various comparable subtypes of program to allow program improvement.

- Will have access to the data base to explore your own research questions
- Will have access to the Research Committee and Research Coordinator for help in the design and implementation of research projects
