Megan Stokes, Executive Director

Megan comes to NATSAP with over 8 years of state legislative experience ranging from interning in the Maryland General Assembly to monitoring legislation across the 50 states. She holds a Bachelor's in Political Science from Salisbury University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching the Washington Capitals and road trips with her family.

Nadia Aboulhouda, CMP, Director of Conferences

Nadia comes to NATSAP with over nine years of experience as a Meeting Planner.  She has worked at several non-profit associations in the Washington, D.C area since starting her career as a meeting planner.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from James Madison University and has earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.  In her spare time, she likes to travel, dine out, and binge-watch good television. 

Shanita Smith, Director of Membership and Public Relations

Shanita brings to NATSAP over 10 years of nonprofit experience ranging from membership to event planning and donor relations. She received her Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Event Planning from Old Dominion University. Shanita developed a strong sense of devotion for the nonprofit sector during an internship with Leadership Greater Washington. This experience gave her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of our members; one program at a time.  In her free time, Shanita enjoys playing with her daughter, reading, traveling and eating.


Crystal Smith, Events & Membership Assistant

Crystal comes to NATSAP with over 4 years of nonprofit experience and 10 years of administrative experience ranging from creating reports and event planning. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Hotel Management from Old Dominion University. Crystal developed a passion for the nonprofit sector due to her internship at The White House. This experience has made her motivated, resilient, and a compellingly persuasive individual who loves nothing more than the servitude to people within the community. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
