This interactive webinar will shed light on the enhanced revenue opportunities and other benefits of becoming accredited while helping participants thoughtfully plan and avoid potential pitfalls when heading down the road to accreditation. Participants will not only better understand how to navigate the accreditation process, but how it sets them on the course to cultivate a culture of excellence. Real-life examples from the field will be shared of how accreditation surveys, consultants and accrediting bodies have worked with organizations that successfully and not-so-successfully prepared to become nationally accredited. An overview of NATSAP-approved accrediting bodies, The Joint Commission, CARF International and Council on Accreditation (COA), Association for Experiential Education (AEE), will help you decide which one will best suit your needs.

Key Objectives:

  • Describe the key benefits to becoming nationally accredited
  • Understand how to identify applicable accreditation standards for your programs/services
  • Effective and efficient use of your organization's resources
  • Understand what accreditation surveyors look for while onsite, even the very small things and identify common accreditation preparation challenges and how to avoid them
