Family Outreach Bridge

NATSAP FAMILY OUTREACH BRIDGE

A direct network between NATSAP and alumni families of the residential treatment world

PURPOSE

The purpose of this Bridge is to connect families directly with NATSAP, gather positive stories to use in our legislative & media efforts, engage alumni & families in relevant NATSAP events. Additionally, this bridge serves as a conduit that allows us to learn of family needs of which we are unaware currently and provide a channel for alumni families to network with one another.

ENGAGE AND CONNECT

NATSAP has created a Family Bridge, a direct network between NATSAP and alumni families of the residential treatment world.

Spreading the positive aspects and outcomes of residential therapeutic treatment is key to preserving the field and programs that help so many youths and families in need. NATSAP intends for this partnership to not only maintain the integrity of the high-standard programs but in fact continue to push for better & safer standards for the students within current programs.

We aim to create this network between NATSAP, alumni, and their families via email & bimonthly (every two months) newsletter. Newsletters will consist of NATSAP event openings for alumni/families such as our annual DC Advocacy Day (usually held in May), possibilities for alumni & families to write op-eds or letters to the editor, and opportunities to send written testimonials to key legislators.

If you know someone who would be a great addition to this bridge, please contact us at natsap@natsap.org.
